If you lost cryptocurrency through an investment scam, preserve the evidence before deleting messages, closing accounts, or losing access to transaction records. The most useful evidence can show how the scam operated, where you sent the funds, what you were promised, and how the money moved afterward.

Jim Recovery Team is a cryptocurrency investigation firm that can review the circumstances of an investment scam, analyze transaction and wallet activity, and assess what evidence may help establish a traceable fund trail.

Start with the transaction records

Save every transaction hash or TXID associated with your payments. Also record the sending and receiving wallet addresses, cryptocurrency used, amount, date, and network.

If you made several payments, preserve them all rather than focusing only on the largest transaction. Multiple transfers can sometimes help investigators understand the sequence of events and connect related activity.

Preserve the scam itself

Keep screenshots and copies of:

The investment website or platform
Your account or dashboard showing deposits and balances
Investment advertisements or social-media posts
Emails, chats, and direct messages
Promises about returns or withdrawals
Deposit instructions and payment requests
Withdrawal attempts and explanations for why additional money was required
Names, usernames, phone numbers, email addresses, or website domains used by the people involved

Do not edit screenshots. Keep the original files whenever possible.

Build a simple timeline

Write down what happened in order: when you first encountered the investment opportunity, when you created an account, each payment you made, when withdrawals were requested, and when you realized something was wrong.

This can make otherwise disconnected pieces of evidence much easier to understand.

Preserve payment and account records

If you purchased cryptocurrency through an exchange, bank, payment service, or crypto ATM, keep the corresponding receipts and account records. These can help establish how the funds entered the transaction trail.

After collecting the evidence, Jim Recovery Team can review the available transaction history, wallet activity, communications, and payment records to determine what investigative paths may be available and whether the funds can potentially be traced further.

For an initial case assessment, send the relevant TXID or transaction hash, wallet addresses, screenshots, messages, payment records, and a brief timeline to [email protected] or +1 (929) 399-9264 (WhatsApp). Never send a seed phrase or private key.
